Roomiez ("the App") is a household management app that helps roommates coordinate chores, calendar events, groceries, shared expenses, and house customization. This policy explains what information the App collects, why, and how it's used.
All information described below is provided directly by you when you create an account or use the App's features. We do not collect data passively, and we do not use any advertising or analytics services.

We use the information above solely to operate the App's core features:
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, analytics, or profiling. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for any advertising or marketing purpose.
Information you provide (your name, photo, profile details, allergies, chores, calendar events, groceries, and expenses) is visible only to the other members of the household(s) you belong to within the App. It is not visible to the public or to members of other households.
Your data is stored using Supabase, a third-party backend infrastructure provider that hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Supabase acts solely as our data processor and does not use your information for its own purposes. Access to your household's data is restricted to members of that household through database-level security rules.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the information below and we will process your request.
Roomiez is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where required, notify you through the App.
